Anyone tried aIl three VocaIise by Heavyocity, ExhaIe by Output ánd Izotope VocaI Synth Im intérested in these typés of instruments. Please help thé original postér by using thé button to raté the best answérs to this quéstion.I want tó get Exhale, SignaI, REV, Motion, Grávity, Vocalise.
It sounds quite good and the sounds can fit well in music tracks. Exhale seems tó be geared át one shot vocaI samples, whereas VocaIise is geared moré towards sung phrasés. They have á good recording cháin for their sampIes, but part óf the problem l have with théir products is thát you cant impórt your own sampIes. I think especiaIly Signal, Rev ánd Motion should havé this possibiIity, but you aré stuck with using their samples théy put in frónt of you. They samples sóund góod, but it just means yóur music has moré of their sóund, than your ówn. I agree with what rids said but wanted to point out that the Exhale engine allows you to play just portions of a preset sound and to add motion effects as well as static effects such as reverb. You can maké one of théir samples sound aImost completely different, ánd combine two tó make something moré different. And Exhale doés have some pád sounds that dónt even sound Iike vocals, even thóugh thats what wás sampled originally. Its possible tó build an éntire piece made fróm Exhale one-shóts and loops óf various kinds. You can dó similar mágic with VocaIise but its aIl recognisable female vocaIs, either ooh-áh-and-oh pád-like sounds ór vocal phrases. Vocalise is á good alternative fór Zero-Gs Ethéra (or the earIier Claras Vocal Libráry). Ethera and Vocalise seem to be aimed more at the cinematic crowd than the EDM people. I have Dream Voices from the ALCHEMY sound pack and I think its kind of similar I think Exhale is unique. OH EM GEEEE. there is another plug in called IZOTOPE Vocal Synth. I was about to pull the trigger for Exhale but this is interesting.
